Candice Ngai

Candice is a story collector as well as a story teller. She loves observing the interesting stories happening around her everyday and turns them into her own stories. She strongly believes that inspiration comes from life experience. She stores up “bits and pieces” in her daily life and convert them into different stories by giving them life. She hopes everyone can share the joy and passion through her illustrations.

She has completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Visual Communication at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2007. In 2005, she went to study at Coventry University in UK as an exchange student where she focused on illustration studies. Throughout these years of exploration, she has further developed her own drawing style. She grabbed the chance while she was in UK in travelling all over Europe with a very tight budget.  She believes travelling and sightseeing are refreshment of thinking out of the box. Many unexpected things could happen in the “tough” journey as a backpacker.  All she wants to achieve is to accumulate her life experience and continue her story telling to impress you.
