Don Mak

Don Mak was born and raised in Hong Kong.

At the age of sixteen, he left school and worked in the local comic field for several years before going back to school in 2006. He graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University with a BA First-Class Honour in Visual Communications in 2009. Since graduation, he has been working as a freelance illustrator for publishers and advertising agencies.

Don has been a member of the Hong Kong Society of Illustrators since 2004. Recently he was commissioned to illustrate for magazines including Mingkok the Buddhist weekly, rrg, Muse and Fleurs des Lettres.
