Esther Yip

Esther graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the department of Fine Arts (BA ), in 2007. She has participated in various art shows:《Hong Kong International Art Fair》(Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, 2008),《Ha Ha! Happy Mid Autumn Festival~ works by Esther Yip Lai-man》(Cityawlk, 2008), 《Fotanian: Fotan Artists Open Studios》(Fotan, 2009). Esther is also an art teacher at《Art in Hospital》and 《Art for All》, and an member of Hong Kong Fotanian Artist Village.

There are three important “guidelines” that Esther adhere to when making art: firstly, she wants people to experience happiness through her artwork; secondly, it’s important that her artwork is interactive; and thirdly, all her art works are made by hand.

Meanwhile, she is working as a flight attendant - travelling around the world to broaden her horizon and to meet people from different nationality and different background.
