Leanne Claxton

Was born 1^st May 1983 in Wigan, Lancashire. She studied there until the age of 19 before moving to London to study for a degree at Central Saint Martins College.

Leanne Claxton graduated from St Martins in 2006 with a degree in printed textiles. She has worked as a print and embroidery designer in New York, Paris, London and Hong Kong.

Her paintings have been exhibited in London and Paris. Leanne Claxton’s print designs on fabric are almost always created from her paintings, whether in oil, acrylic, gouache or watercolour. She uses CAD to turn her creations into digital prints.

Her client list ranges from Christian Lacroix to Tesco. She is now based in Hong Kong and has recently collaborated with designer Johanna Ho to produce and exclusive print for the pop star Eason Chan for his world tour “Duo”.
