Wendy Tai was raised and educated in Hong Kong, Canada and the US. She also spent a little time in Paris, where she practiced her French. Having received her BA in Fine Arts with a minor in Art History from University of Pennsylvania in 2008, she is currently working as a research assistant in her hometown. While Wendy has a multitude of interests and artistic pursuits, she is mainly concerned with creating pieces that address cultural and socio-political issues. She also likes to dabble in cultural theory, curating, ethnography and architecture, amongst too many other things. Right now she is looking into the potentials of new media. She also really likes maps.
